ALLERGY FRIENDLY BAKERY + CAFÉ

Sweet Impressions is a 100% peanut and tree nut free facility, and our entire menu is safe for those with peanut and tree nut allergies. Please note that Health Canada classifies coconut and nutmeg as seeds and not as tree nuts.

Eggs and dairy are present in the bakery, however special precautions are taken to ensure that there is no chance of cross-contamination with egg free, dairy free, and vegan products. All staff are trained on proper procedures including thoroughly sanitizing all equipment and utensils prior to use, use of separate storage and prep areas, and proper labelling.

We have a number of menu items that are “gluten friendly”, however wheat flour is present in the bakery and it is not an allergen that can be effectively controlled in our facility therefore cross-contamination is a possibility.

We have recently updated our menu and some of our recipes. For allergies other than peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, and dairy, we recommend contacting us at info@sweetimpressions.ca before placing an order.

Many of our menu ingredients contain soy and / or soy lecithin and there are no procedures in place to prevent cross-contamination. As a result, we are unable to guarantee that any of our menu items are free from soy.

Some of our ingredients “may contain traces” of sulphites in quantities of <10ppm.
